Who We Are

Our 130 Main Street address is next door to the beautiful Chico State campus and a few blocks from the Bidwell Park gateway. We are a small community-minded bakery & cafe dedicated to the craftsmanship of pleasurable baked goods and wholesome cafe foods. We love our downtown neighborhood, the pulse of our community is here and we wouldn't want it any other way. Our bakery cafe welcomes you in for a quiet moment or meet up with family and friends.

Our Creative Hub

In the bakery, the distance between our customers and the creative hub of our kitchen is just a few steps and we think that means everything. Our skilled pastry chefs and bakers work hard to respond to the call for excellence. Our fabulous cake offerings are heavenly, just ask our customers! The talented decorators t the Upper Crust will make your cake a centerpiece whether it's an everyday celebration or one of the great life occasions including weddings and anniversaries.

Firing Up

The ovens are fired up early each morning to bring you tender flaky pastries, delectable scones, muffins and coffeecake. From heavy sacks of flour, we create every baked good in our pastry case. If you arrive early in the morning a warm pastry awaits you. Nothing is better. Let us also tempt you with tarts, pies, cheesecakes, tea breads and stack sof cookies, all your favorites.

Creative Meals

Bring your cravings for a home away from home to our cafe. We love food. Our specialty delicatessen is always filled with an extensive selection of creative salads which are meals in themselves. As well, you'll find quiche, sandwiches, lasgna and of course seasonal favorites. We are dedicated to the principal that quality ingredients are the cornerstone of great food.
