Our community-minded bakery & eatery

is dedicated to the craftsmanship of artisan pastries, finely designed cakes and all manner of pleasurable baked goods! Not only are we staffed by fabulous bakery wizards, we also have a full lunch menu and a delicatessen case loaded with wholesome foods, drawing from the best of our local food purveyors and farmers, and yes, organic when available. We are proud of our distinctive edibles perfect for lunch, picnics and potlucks, or any of life’s occasions!

The ovens are fired up very early every morning,

to bring you sweet delicate pastries, delectable treats, flaky golden pies and gorgeous cakes. From the heavy sacks of flour to the last dusting of sugar, our small team of skilled pastry chefs, bakers and decorators create every bit of goodness. Baking principles are revered here, so you should arrive with an expectation. And remember, if you arrive early in the morning a warm pastry awaits you. Nothing is better.

We love our downtown neighborhood.

The pulse of our community is here and we wouldn’t want it any other way. You might say we are a product of our surroundings and for over 18 years now, we’ve made it a manner of doing business to give back to many great organizations and events in our community. We’re located two blocks from the beautiful Chico State Campus, historic Bidwell Mansion and the Gateway Science Museum. The entrance to our much loved Bidwell Park is just a few blocks away. We welcome you to meet up with friends, bring your family or simply enjoy a quiet time at the bakery!
